For most people, “tweeting” is a harmless exercise in having fun. But when you have a high profile public image to look after, you have to consider each and every tweet as something that shows a lot about you, your professionalism and your use of a social powerhouse. We suggest to our partners they make good use of Twitter at all times and stay on message. Often tweeting something silly and fluffy could backfire when your image is one of being serious and opinionated. In other words, always think before you tweet.
